Starting from Clun Castle car park, this 4.6 mile circular route will take you approximately 2.5 hours to complete (possibly slightly longer have little legs joining you).
Enjoy the incredible woodlands filled with wildlife and be treated to extraordinary views of Shropshire and the valley of the River Clun.
Be sure to stop off at Clun Castle, which once played a key role in protecting the area from Welsh invasion.
There are a variety of pubs and cafes in Clun to refuel after your walk. Alternatively, take the 10-minute drive to Bishops Castle to explore the town and it’s quirky shops and streets.

Starting at the base of the hill, this 5.2 mile circular walk will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. You’ll find incredible viewpoints along the whole route with some of the best views in the county.
This unique heathland is steeped in history and folklore, of which the most famous is included on the map.
The Bog Visitor Centre is located nearby for refreshments and a toilet break. The visitor centre also provides displays on the history of the area and its folklore.
Church Stretton, known as Shropshire’s walking town, is a short 30-minute drive away. There are a variety of pubs nearby for a well deserved post-walk lunch!

Starting at the car park, this circular walk is 5.2 miles long and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. You’ll be conquering Shropshire’s highest peak, at 540m in elevation.
Several iron age hill forts are dotted around Brown Clee Hill and it’s sister hill, Titterstone Clee. When on Clee’s Abdon Burf summit, look roughly southwest ahead and you’ll see Nordy Bank, the last ‘intact’ survivor of the hill forts.
Make sure your camera is at the ready when you reach the summit, the views are outstanding!
Brown Clee Hill is sandwiched between the towns of Ludlow and Bridgnorth, providing a vast array of dining options after your trek!
